The agency conducts the game every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9 PM, along with other jackpot-bearing and digit games.

Hopeful millionaires shall secure their tickets before 8:00 PM as PCSO will not accept bets after the cut-off. The selling of tickets will begin at 7:00 AM and continue until 8:00 PM, while the official lottery draws are held at 9:00 PM.

All jackpot-bearing lotto tickets are now prized at P20.00 (#Balikbente program). Tickets are available at the nearest authorized PCSO lotto outlet, inclusive of the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST).
Grand Lotto 6/55 is one of the most popular major games of PCSO. To play, a player must choose six (6) numbers from 1-55 and mark them on the playing card.
The player can also mark down the Lucky Pick or LP, should he or she prefer the machine to choose the numbers for him/her. A systematic play is also available for 6/55 Lotto draws for more chances of winning. More combinations equals more bet costs.

The jackpot prize is taxable by 20% pursuant to TRAIN Law. A 1% commission will also be given to the PCSO agent where the winning ticket was bought.
PCSO thoroughly validates all winning tickets. Moreover, PCSO is serious about dealing with counterfeit/tampered tickets as they will not honor any, should anyone try to claim their prizes using such.
